On Sunday, 15 February 2015, the Rapir Cup for cadets and younger categories was held in Zagreb. Five fencers from our club took part in this strong tournament, which attracted competitors from Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary, Italy and Bulgaria. For some it was their very first tournament, for others another chance to gain experience, learn fair play, fence good bouts and make new friends. In the boys D category, Lars Ponikvar finished 11th and Brin Božič 3rd. In category C, Jaša Kljun was 11th among the boys and Sonja Sorokin 13th among the girls. Among the cadets, Dominik Šteblaj finished 28th in a large field.
More detailed results are available here.
Congratulations to all our fencers on their good bouts!
