During the European Championships in Maribor, the International Fencing Federation (FIE) also held a referee exam. Gaja and Eva passed it and became international épée referees. This means our club now has as many as four international referee licences. Apart from us, three other Slovenians hold an FIE referee licence – two for foil and one for sabre.
