A large team from our club competed at the 19th Mladost Tournament, held in Zagreb on 12 November 2016. Our youngest fencers achieved excellent results in the boys D category (under 10). The winner was Oskar Gruden, who beat Jon Ponikvar in the final, so Jon finished 2nd. Arne Bajuk was 6th and Nejc Hudej 8th. In the boys C category (under 12), Brin Božič and Lars Ponikvar shared 3rd place, Jon Ponikvar was 8th and Nejc Zarnik 13th. Devi Kuščer competed among the girls C and finished 10th. Among the boys B (under 14), Bernard Baler finished 5th and Viktor Štrumbelj 10th. Detailed results are available here.
