On Tuesday, 28 January 2014, at a meeting of its executive board, the Slovenian Fencing Federation (SZS) admitted Ljubljana Fencing Club as a member. The federation is the umbrella organisation for fencing in Slovenia; it now brings together 11 clubs and is a member of the Olympic Committee of Slovenia, the International Fencing Federation (FIE) and the European Fencing Confederation (EFC).
